LINKEDIN INSIGHT
I USED PIGGYVEST LIKE A NORMAL USER… UNTIL I COULDN’T.😫 Today, curiosity got the best of me. I heard about the Flex Dollar wallet on PiggyVest and decided to try it out. I wasn’t sure how it worked, so I put in a small amount just to test the waters. Right after saving, my next instinct kicked in. I wanted to automate it. I thought, “Let me set a weekly auto-save to grow this little dollar stash over time.” I searched the app. Nothing. I searched Google. Still nothing. That’s when it hit me. AutoSave doesn’t exist for Flex Dollar. And my PM brain instantly woke up. I pulled out my notepad and started writing: • What a user might feel • Where the friction lives • Why this feature could make a real difference From a customer’s point of view, this is more than a convenience issue. It’s a missed opportunity to help users stay consistent with dollar savings, especially in an economy where many are trying to protect their money from inflation. A simple feature like AutoSave for Flex Dollar could help users set goals, stay committed, and even attract more people who want stable dollar-based savings. I don’t work at PiggyVest, but here I am, documenting pain points like I’m on the product team. Can I just enjoy an app without switching into Product Manager mode? Apparently not 😅 Have you used the Flex Dollar wallet? Would AutoSave make it better?
I’ve always said it: Opay really does a seamless job when it comes to transactions. The product managers and stakeholders behind that app? They’re definitely not small. I give it to them. 🔥🔥🔥 It reminds me of a project I once worked on called Bipay an app built to enable smooth cross-border transactions. The amount of research, market analysis, and strategic planning that went into it was intense. So whenever I use apps like Opay, I can’t help but think of the kind of work that goes on behind the scenes. As a product manager, I sometimes randomly download apps just to explore and see how other PMs are thinking, building, and improving. I lowkey raise a toast to them even though I don’t know them personally, I see their work, and it’s inspiring. Cheers 🥂 to them!🔥 Rooting for All PMs and the team behind mind blowing Solutions.
